Well, I was happy to find out that my essay was doing well in class. However, the question remained the same 'Is my essay doing well enough for me to be confident that I will do well on the final exam? '.Lastly, I thought to myself, 'What else can I improve?'. And I learned that I can write better and increase my grammar skills. Not only that, but I learned that I need to know how to break down a subject into more manageable parts for easier understanding.There are a lot of things that I have learned over the past two weeks. I also found that I want to be better at this, not just for writing essays, but for every aspect of my life.The first thing that I learned was that I needed to be sure that I had a good grasp on my subject matter. It was very important for me to know my topic because that helped me focus and perform be tter. I really need to be sure that I understand my topic and this is where the classes like English, History, and Math help.They can also show me what direction to take, which direction not to take, and what a better way of looking at it would be. At the end of the day, I needed to know that I understood what I was trying to say. Otherwise, I would lose focus and get lost.Another thing that I found is that I need to write with the right grammar. No one can remember if I wrote an essay in a slow and sloppy style, or if I wrote an essay with good grammar. So, I need to be careful with my writing style.As for spelling, there were two things that I needed to do to be sure that I would write a good essay. First, I should spell each word correctly, and second, I should check to see if my spelling is correct before I even start to write. I used to rely on my memory, but I realized that my memory was unreliable.I realized that if I misspell a word or misspell the wrong word, then I would h ave no chance to get it right the next time. This is when I checked to see if my spelling was correct before I started to write. The other thing that I found was that a college essay could be turned into a dissertation if my essays were good enough to turn into a dissertation.
